Note: The Takeover

Module can be utilized to

re-use the existing wired

door/window sensors in

your home. In order to

test the Takeover Module,

you can open the wired

door/window sensors one

at a time.

End-to-End Testing

• Test each existing

wired door/window

sensor one at a time by

executing the following

procedure:

o Arm the system in

the Armed-STAY

Mode

o Open one protected

door or window

o After the alarm has

been observed,

enter your Alarm

Panel PIN to cancel

the alarm and then

enter your Alarm

Panel PIN again to

clear the message

End-to-End Testing

• For each existing wired

door/window sensor

• Keypad LCD will display:

<Device Name> -

Opened (For example,

“Master Bedroom

Window - Opened”)

• Keypad LCD will display:

Intrusion Alarm Sent

• Keypad LCD will

Display: Alarm – Enter

PIN to Cancel

• Keypad LCD will display:

Alarm Canceled

• Keypad LCD will display:

Enter PIN to Clear

• An Intrusion alarm

has been sent to

Central Monitoring

Center with no

action required
